PRP/Plasma Facial

Your blood is drawn, a centrifuge is used to separate red blood cells from the plasma and the plasma is microneedled into your skin. Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that causes microinjury to the skin which stimulates the wound healing process, growth factors found in plasma stimulate collagen reproduction which reduce scars, pore size, hyperpigmentation for a more even and youthful appearance. After the age of 30 our natural collagen production is decreased significantly, with this minimally invasive procedure we are able to accelerate collagen production for a more youthful appearance. This is a natural way to decrease the signs of aging. You can expect mild redness, itching, dryness and minor peeling/flaking for approximately 5 days after the procedure. You will need 3 sessions 4-6 weeks apart and a maintenance session per year. The same procedure can be used for the neck, the decollate, the back of hands, as well as areas with stretch marks. Microneedling also helps improve the appearance of acne scars but more sessions may be required.

FAQs

What is a plasma facial?

The plasma facial is a minimally invasive procedure that uses your own growth hormones found in your plasma that is microneedled into your skin.

What is microneedling?

A medical device that has multiple micorneedles is quickly moved across the skin creating micro-channels and plasma is delivered through these micro channels. This also triggers the wound healing response and combined with the power of the growth hormones that are present in your plasma, collagen production is accelerated.

How much is the plasma/PRP facial

Each session is $299.

How many sessions are needed?

How many sessions needed is dependent on several factors such as age, how well you've taken care of your skin, amount of cumulative sun exposure, acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. Most people require 3-4 sessions separated by 4-6 weeks and a couple of maintenance treatments per year.

How long do results last?

Once collagen is produced, it will degrade at the rate of the rest of collagen degradation and is dependent on age. For example a 25 year old is producing a lot of collagen and not degrading as compared to a 50 years old who is producing collagen as a loser pace and is degrading it at a faster pace.
